the realization of this project

Several people worked voluntarily with the realization of this great project since January 2001. In addition to the members of the current Administrative Council. Here are the names alphabetically listed of those whose work was determining in these first years :

Since the all beginnings, groups, co-operatives, social clubs, tradesmen joined our extraordinary project:.


The Caisse Populaire Desjardins of Aylmer

The Caisse Populaire gave us support since the early beginnings and startup of the Aylmer Health Coop. Mr Luc Grandmont, the Director, does not miss an occasion to come to our assistance. Our Cooperative was the recipient of several substantial gifts which allowed us to tackle of our objectives, moving closer toward our goals.


The Community Economic Development Technical Assistance Program (CEDTAP) With the support of the CEDTAP, the co-operative carries out its initial business plan, with the technical assistance and organizational strategy on a community economic development level, analysing and evaluating the needs of the operational and financial plan…


The Aylmer Lion's Club - With Mrs. Marie Boucher as Chair, The co-operative obtained substantial donations in 2004 and 2005 which were used for the purchase of various medical equipment for the clinic.



The Royal Canadian Legion of Aylmer

Aylmer Health Coop received a gift from the Legion in 2004 and 2005. The funds obtained went for the purchase of medical equipement.


The club Richelieu Aylmer - Gilles Ménard as Chair. The club Richelieu Aylmer submitted the candidature of the Aylmer Health Coop to the City of Gatineau Health Commission. The co-operative was honoured on November 25, 2004. (see articles and photographs in the Files.)
